Play modes

• Vs bots: Fill the empty seats with bots. Bots have levels, from easy to hard.
• Solo: Play alone against the Rival, a scholar who turns one card a turn. The bot level sets the Rival's level.
• With friends: Make a private table for 2 to 5 players.
• Learn by playing: The guided lesson Your first game teaches the rules.

How to play

1. Your goal is to have the most points after 4 rounds. You collect creatures in your bestiary.
2. Your bestiary has three rows: Forest, Mountains and Underworld. Each row has 5 spaces.
3. On your turn, do one action. Play a creature, or use a row action to gain food, lay eggs or draw cards.
4. A row action wakes the creatures in that row. Their powers act from right to left.
5. You have 8 turns in round 1, 7 in round 2, 6 in round 3 and 5 in round 4.
6. At the end of each round, players compare a round goal for bonus points. At the end, you score creatures, eggs, scholar cards and round goals.

Good to know

• Free to play. It runs in the browser on phone, tablet and desktop. You do not download anything.
• 1 to 5 players. A game takes about 45 minutes.
• Your hand and your scholar cards stay secret until the end.
